GPS - FS22 Mod is a game utility application developed for Farming Simulator 22. It works as a mod for the popular farming simulation game. It is free to download and install on your base game.

However, unlike the Courseplay mod, the GPS mod does not calculate routes for your vehicles. What it does is calculate the steering angle that your tractor needs to get from point A to point B. Moreover, the mod does not apply automatically to your vehicles. You need to buy the GPS configuration and enable it manually on your vehicle to use it.

What can the mod do?

The Farming Simulator franchise is one of the most popular farming sims available for download. First developed in 2008, its developers have released various iterations of the game, with FS22 as its latest installment. The game continued the core gameplay of the series, adding new machines, real-life brands, and a new seasonal cycle. However, it does not offer other helpful tools, such as GPS for vehicles.

GPS - FS22 Mod is a mod for FS22. However, this is not your standard navigation tool. The utility app is actually a steering guide. It offers two methods: the AB method and the A+ method. AB method calculates the steering angle that your vehicle needs to get from point A and point B. Meanwhile, A+ is the simplified method that only requires you to enter your desired steering angle.

As mentioned, the app does not automatically apply to your vehicles. You either buy a new one and add the GPS configuration or drive your current one to the shop and configure it there. Moreover, when you buy the GPS configuration the first time, the Guidance Steering is disabled. To enable it, hit the left ALT +C buttons. Meanwhile, tapping left CTRL + S will display the guidance menu.

Should you download it?

Overall, GPS - FS22 Mod is a helpful mod to have. It could not generate routes for your vehicles but it can calculate the steering angle to get from one point to another. However, it requires a manual configuration before you can actually use it. It could have been more useful if it had other navigational functions. Nevertheless, it is worth a try.
